Meet The Team
 Carol Bertsch is really an old soul. You can see it in her eyes when she listens intently to what you need and helps you evaluate all your options. Carol narrowed her practice to servicing the needs of seniors in 1996 when she started private practice.
Carol does not represent a financial company trying to make a sale and she is not a government employee. Carol is an independent source of information with her client's best interest in mind at all times.
Carol is a member of several organizations including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Bexar County Women's Bar Association, San Antonio Bar Association, and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
 Assisting Carol in her work as an associate is attorney Lincoln Strawhun who was inspired to focus his legal career on elder care after experience aging issues with his two grandmothers. One passed away after a seven year battle with Alzheimer's disease and the other is now in a nursing home - after four years of struggling to live on her own with the help of visiting care providers. Lincoln is a 2007 graduate of the Ave Maria School of Law and since 2003, has served as a Navy Reservist in the Judge Advocate General office.
